Diploma of Engineering - YENG01 - 2018

The Diploma of Engineering is designed for students who wish to study engineering at diploma level. It provides basic technical skills with which graduates can commence entry level work in engineering-related areas or go on to further their studies in engineering.

This course gives you an overview of the engineering streams offered – civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics, and chemical engineering.

There is an emphasis on hands-on practical learning, through classes, site visits and workshop experience. Students will develop a professional approach to their work through oral presentations and written reports.

  • While still covering the traditional areas of engineering study, our programs focus on the tropical environment of the Northern Territory, and encompass modern teaching methods such as team activities, project-based learning and offer the opportunity to work with people from related disciplines such as architecture, mathematics and physics.
  • We offer a range further study options. Study accredited engineering courses from undergraduate programs to PhD programs. Our Bachelor and Master level engineering courses are internationally accredited through the Engineers Australia and EUR-ACE® accreditation framework. Future graduates can travel almost anywhere in the world and have their degree recognised.
  • Full-time and part-time study options available.
  • Study on campus, or online. Study anywhere anytime.
