Graduate Certificate of Play Therapy - UPLAT1 - 2018

Play Therapy is a counselling method for children that uses toys and playing to prevent or resolve psychological or social difficulties. It is the most developmentally-relevant form of therapeutic intervention for children because it utilises ‘play’ - a child’s natural way of expression.

This certificate provides basic complimentary skills using play as a therapeutic method of treatment for multiple child mental health conditions in a counselling setting. It is designed for anybody with an already known skillset of working with families and children.
