Play therapy is a counseling method for children. It uses toys and playing to prevent or resolve psychological or social difficulties.

Play therapy is an effective therapeutic intervention for children because it utilises a child’s natural way of expression.

The Master of Play Therapy coursework includes theoretical study blended with clinical practice, supervision and a research component. You will develop the skills to enable them to become reflective scientific play therapy practitioner.

This course is suitable for graduates who work in the field of education, teaching, health, medicine, nursing, allied health, psychology, child care and social work.
